Tarantula.net, a UK-based software specialist in the mobile telecom/tower space and innovator of Site Finder and the Site-share.com, a software service aimed at tower and mobile telecom providers and used by every mobile operator and tower company in the UK, is implementing the Site Finder for WTTIL, the tower company of the TATA group.

The Site Finder is a Web-enabled unique service that provides a dedicated online sales channel for WTTIL’s tower portfolio. WTTIL is now able to collate, manage, plot, and generate reports on their entire tower information in a single, online, search-enabled, real-time managed software that is integrated with online satellite maps. The service enables WTTIL to add a 24x7 sales and marketing channel for their towers to customers – the other telecom operators – and generate revenue through the increased visibility of their entire portfolio for site sharing/co-locating.

The customer-friendly service enables WTTIL to provide its potential customers with cell site/tower information that would help buyers make a decision about the viability of a cell site and location. WTTIL’s customers have the ability to search and view detailed information of the tower structure including pictures and satellite images of the location, and create online requests (eQuicklooks) seeking further information about the towers. Customers can search by Radius, Latitude, Longitude and Region, or drill down via an integrated Map-based search and compare the towers.
